It just doesn’t work. Don’t even try it, not that you would be now.
I’ve spent some time recently porting an ancient application to run on docker, this application uses a component that comes with Sharepoint Designer 2007, it was no longer produced or supported by Microsoft in newer versions.
I got this error:
Error: Failed to load DLL: c:\<PATH>\OSETUP.DLL ErrorCode: 126(0x7e).
This is fatal, and cannot be fixed. You can’t run Microsoft Office (which Sharepoint is closely related too) under docker.
This might not be true for the latest version(s) but it is true for 12 year old versions, it doesn’t work.
Theres a thing on Windows Server’s user voice page about it, from a year ago.
